Hensel WiFi Remote: Now for Nova D & DL generators

Great news for anyone working with Hensel Nova D / DL generators! Effective mid-August and at no additional charge, all Nova generators will be delivered with a factory-integrated WiFi receiver that allows remote control via smartphones and tablets. The updated version of the “Hensel Remote“ App is available for iOS (iPhone and iPad), and will be also available shortly as download for Android.

The App offers convenient, bi-directional WiFi remote control and allows direct control of all generator functions whereby the flash synchronizing continues to be done via the Strobe Wizard Plus transmitter or the sync socket. Since September 2016 already, all Hensel Expert D compact flash units have been equipped with this convenient function.

Devices can be controlled individually or in user defined groups of up to 12 devices. A generator functions as router so that no additional router is needed – very convenient, especially when working on location. The range is up to 50 meters.

Upon request, older Nova D / DL generators can be modified. Most upcoming Hensel flash units will be compatible with the “Hensel Remote” App from the start.

The “Hensel Remote“ App has been intentionally designed to be application oriented which results in very intuitive handling. Whether “On Location” or with sophisticated studio set-ups, this makes work noticeably easier for any user.

The Hensel WiFi Remote App is available for download in iTunes and in the Google Play Store free of charge. The updated version for iOS incl. compatibility with Nova D/DL and the modeling light function FREE will is now available for iOS and will be available shorty for Android.
