In the light of Hensel – a professional photo event in Moscow

The open doors seminar devoted to professional photography, “In the light of Hensel with Advertising Photographers Guild”, took place in the “Business and Design Institute” on April 24, 2017.
The event was organized with the partner of the Institute – the brand Hensel, one of the oldest manufacturers of studio equipment in Europe, which is represented by A.Foto as the official distributor – and with the “Advertizing Photographers Guild”.

Questions & Answers: how to shoot commercial photography?

Commercial photography is actively used in all spheres of modern design: from fashion industry to interior works. The curious visitors wanted to know everything: How to arrange a work with photographer? What are the special features of art photography? how to choose parameters and techniques for shooting?

Answers to these and many other questions were given by the speakers at the seminar. The speeches by Liudmila Tumanova (Advertizing Photographers Guild President and member of European Professional Photographers Federation), Aleksey Dovgulya (professional photographer and winner of many international contests), Yuliy Shik (professional advertizing photographer and Russian Photo Union Vice-President) and Philipp Blokhin (product and advertizing photographer and professional graphic designer) had an intense feedback from the audience.

Going home with new inspiration

The future specialists learned a lot: about working with equipment and props, good perspectives when shooting advertizing compositions, peculiarities of joint working.

The master class has gotten lots of positive comments from the students:

“A very positive event. Especially interesting it was to learn about intricacies of arranging and performing fashion shoot and subtleties of working with light and lighting units. I think it can be useful for future activity” – Alina Chertkova, attendant of Graphic Design courses in B&D Institute.
I really enjoyed Yuliy Shik’s speech, he told a lot of interesting things about food photography, about the way to set light correctly and how to set a camera in a way to get the “tastiest” and harmonious images.”

“Thank you for such a unique opportunity to learn so many useful things from the best experts” – Irina Lekhtonen, attendant of Graphic Design courses in B&D Institute.

We thank all the speakers and participants of the seminar for the provided opportunity of professional dialogue!
