Review // Canon & Hensel Professional Studio Tour 2015

Experience top quality in camera and lighting technology – that was the motto of this year’s tour through professional photo studios in Germany, which has ended on the 29th of October with the event in Berlin. Together with Canon, we gave interested users the opportunity to experience the new cameras EOS 5Ds and 5Ds R and our Expert D 250 Speed monolights live and at work. We went to five cities all over Germany: Duesseldorf, Frankfurt, Munich, Hamburg and Berlin.

Camera and lighting experts gave practical advice for the products in short lectures and visitors could check out the cameras and accessories and have a chat with the product experts. JOBO was also there as a ‘special guest’ to introduce their ‘LensTRUE’ system.

The well-known people photographer Jörg Kyas showed the possibilities of the new Canon cameras at a live photo shoot with professional models, especially in combination with our Expert D 250 Speed, the new Bounce Adapter and a Grand 120 softbox.
Many participants were amazed by the capability of this monolight, which outperforms that of many renowned flash generators. Whether it be a dynamic fashion shoot with a parachute dress, or a mystical beauty shoot in the ‘fog’, our monolights are ideally suited to tap the full potential of the new EOS cameras, thanks to short flash durations and fast flash sequences.
