Meteorite in the studio

The meteorite which plunged into the Cherbakul lake in February 2013 has caused a worldwide stir.

In the meantime, pieces of the meteorite were found and examined. The photographer Pavel Malzev has professionally documented these fragments with the help of his Tria flash generators and the Hensel starspot with light conductor attachment. Results and further information can be seen here.

According to NASA estimates, the size of the meteorite was approximately 15m width and 17m length.
