Review: Hensel in the US | PhotoPlus Expo | Thank you

Hensel-Visit was very excited to see how our new distribution partner would display our goods and work this show. When we arrived we were thrilled to see that while small, the Hensel-USA booth displayed all of our strobes and many of our modifiers in the most professional looking lighting booth on the show floor.

This was the busiest PhotoPlus Expo in the last few years and there were customers in our booth all of the time. For three days, the Hensel DE and USA teams answered customer questions, helped solve lighting issues and looked at some fabulous images our customers shared with us. We want to say

“Thank You” to all the people who visited us at the PhotoPlus Expo in NYC!

We always enjoy talking to our existing customers, welcoming new prospects and generally sharing and gaining lighting expertise with all the attendees! By listening to suggestions from both, existing and prospective customers, we get terrific ideas for uses for our existing gear and concepts for completely new products. This helps Hensel stay fresh and relevant.

Hensel-USA held a photo contest and announced the winners while we were at PhotoPlus Expo. The three winning photographs were prominently displayed in the booth. We were very lucky to have the grand prize winner, Frances Neyra Claudio stop by during the show to say hello. It was wonderful meeting her and getting a chance to congratulate her in person. The last day show we presented Frances with an enlarged copy (61 x 91cm) of her winning image mounted on a foam core base. France couldn’t have been happier and was excited to start using her new Hensel lighting kit.

We are now back in Germany and putting the finishing touches on some new product concepts. We have a number of new products in the “pipeline” that will be introduced next year, many of them influenced by the people we spoke with during PhotoPlus Expo.
