We’ve got it – the oldest Porty has been found!

Our competition to celebrate the 20th jubilee of Porty generators is over: We have received many entries from fans around the globe.
The best part: all of these Portys are still being used! It is this reliability and longevity that made them favorites of customers worldwide. Many participants wrote us that they do not want to miss their loyal battery generator anymore.

As often in life, however, there can only be one winner, just like in this search for the oldest Porty owned by our cutomers: Congratulations go to Frank Baumhammel in Bad Nauheim (Germany)!
His winning Porty A has been delivered at the beginning of 1995 and belongs to the first batch produced.
He can now look forward to receiving a brand-new Porty L 1200!
The winner will receive the new generator in our Wuerzburg headquarters – we will keep you posted.

Frank Baumhammel about his experiences with Porty:
‘I purchased my 2 Porty’s a very long time ago from one of my colleagues during my time as an assistant, because the noise from emergency power generators has always been highly annoying. Since then, they’ve been my reliable companions at all jobs on location. The only parts I had to exchange were some batteries – the packs and heads are working since 20 years without any problems. The fact that I can put my little mobile suns everywhere I need them, without compromises, makes my work easy and leads to truly professional images. Sometimes I also use the Porty’s as an addition to my other Hensel generators in the studio.’
